This is a city with one of the largest RV sales events in Southern California. It also has a KOA campground, with 185 RV sites, across from the Fairplex. This draws an enormous amount of RVs all year long. This city encourages camping in a big way but yet it won't allow its own citizens the right to park their RV's in their private driveways!

Remember RVs includes any type of trailer not just travel. Your speed or fishing boat is included in this city's ban.

The state of California recognizes these vehicles as vehicles "legal" to travel on any highways, but Pomona does considers them "illegal" to be parked in your own driveway for any length of time

How do you like paying $100 to $200 per month for an inconvenient RV storage space, limiting the hours that you can come an go. This of course being dependent on "if" you can even find a storage space. Some available storage locations can be as much as 20 to 30 miles from you home. This can be the death of owning a travel trailer.

If you don't like being told you are using your RV as shanty (low class living quarters) in your driveway without running water or electricity. . . When you are tired of telling the city that you are "simply storing a beautiful, classy, great way to see America". . . Then the time has come time to use your voting and purchasing power to let the City know how you feel. Yes, Pomona is soon having elections, so make your vote count! Find out who is in your corner and who isn't!

Another way you can have your feelings known is with your $Dollars$. Every Dollar you spend in Pomona, supports the City Government. The City Government that refuses to adhere to the needs of the whole City.

Have you ever driven in some more affluent areas, such as La Verne. What do you think of the many properties that have trailers stored in those driveways? Do you think La Verne prosecutes their citizens? Not likely! In over ten years, I have seen travel/boat trailers stored in driveways and never move an inch. And La Verne looks great!

If you think trailers are beautiful, help us to let the City of Pomona know how we feel about them trying to destroy our American dream!
